BioThis journal is meant to be read as the rantings of a grown-up Goth girl who finds herself facing life as a single 36 year old female professional (architect-in-training) with all the wisdom of a confused (yet particularly opinionated) teenager - which is surprisingly close to the truth.
Many of my journal entries deal with dumb observations I have made, the iniquities of romantic love, my own unique vision of reality, and memoirs of a not very spectacular but somehow indelible former life as a depressed, isolated and pensive "Goth" girl. And yes, I have been living under a rock for the past twenty odd years, so bear with me. I'm too smart for my own good, and I'm a bit on the socially inept side. I guess that might classify me as a nerd, which I am totally comfortable with. I have a weird sense of humor and I use a lot of sarcasm, but it all ultimately comes from the heart. DO NOT take what I say too seriously - I am not that serious of a person. Life's too short for all that!
